A Word from JETS President and Founder
Dear Friends,
Welcome to our website! Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary (JETS) is an institution established in 1991 to equip Arab leaders for the Arab World. It was granted official license by the Jordanian government in 1995. JETS exists to help fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and seeks to reach the 22 Arabic-speaking countries of the Middle East, Arab Peninsula and North Africa. It is located in the country of Jordan and has grown by the grace of God against great odds in the heart of the Arab World.
JETS seeks to fulfill its mission by providing both formal accredited bachelor, master and doctoral programs, as well as informal training programs, through a variety of delivery methods with field training. Though JETS is not denominationally related, it is evangelical in its conviction and seeks excellence in spiritual priority, teaching standards, sensitivity to community and quality of operations.
JETS cannot function without partnership with churches, para-churches and individuals around the world. It is to them that we are indebted for our existence. They have been God's instruments to shape us to the place we are today.
